Buzzly is designed for quick, no-account classroom and group quiz sessions. We do not require signup or login to play.

What We Collect

We store room and gameplay data in Firebase Firestore to run live sessions. This can include room identifiers, question and board state, player/team display names, scores, session settings, and event timestamps.

Example fields may include room ID, players, teams, scores, active question state, game phase, and created/updated time values.

What We Do Not Collect

We do not require account registration, passwords, or profile creation to use the core game features.

How We Use Data

Room and gameplay data is used only to provide and maintain live quiz functionality, including joining rooms, showing questions, and tracking scores.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand aggregate app usage and performance. For more details, see the Cookie and Analytics Notice.

Data Retention

We retain stored room data only as long as needed to operate and improve the service, unless a longer period is required by law.
